Our Infant program is designed to build strong foundations for your little ones ages 0-12 months. This child-centered program equips our teachers to nurture the little ones in our care.
It optimizes key windows of opportunity for growth and development and is designed with the purpose to grow your child’s brain around developmental learning domains.
Social & Emotional Development
Every moment with an infant is precious and we take advantage of that. We rock, talk, and play with your developing infant in an environment designed to make them feel safe, secure, and happy. Each baby receives warm, nurturing and personalized care, building strong bonds with their caregivers.
Language & Cognitive Development
Our teachers are constantly communicating with your infant to help them make sense of sounds and speech patterns. They’re engaged in activities to help them express and understand both verbal sounds and nonverbal body language. We teach our infants sign language, participate in reading books, as well as introduce them to letters and meaningful images.
Fine & Gross Motor Skills
Our teachers assist your infant’s physical development through tasks that improve coordination, accuracy, and balance. They receive encouragement and positive reinforcement every step of the way. Our infant room has a “gymnastic” program where we focus on strengthening the large muscle groups for gross motor skills! Through engaging activities and one on one support, babies begin their developmental journey with a strong foundation.
Infant Care & Feeding
Each family is required to complete an infant feeding plan. This plan ensures that our staff completely understands each child’s specific diet and meal times. Our teachers will cater to your child’s every need by responding to signals given by the baby.
Cleanliness & Sanitization
Each infant has their own personal crib labeled with their name and decorated with family pictures. While your child is in our program, no other infant will use their crib. They each have plenty of space to store the things that make them feel comfortable. We use a separate area for changing and feeding, and we strictly enforce our “shoe free zone” in the infant room. This ensures that we minimize germs introduced to our little ones at such an early age. We sanitize our cribs, sheets, toys, and floors daily!
Parent Communication
We work hard to develop relationships with our families. Open communication is our priority, including detailed daily reports and an open door policy.
