At Rising Star Academy our staff "Shoots for the Stars"! We strive to hire teachers who genuinely care to meet your families' needs, not just "day care workers". We look for teachers who are passionate, feel called to the profession and love spending their days with early learners.

Our teachers are considered and hired based on the following criteria:

• CDA (or in the process of attaining their CDA)
• Early childhood associates degree
• Bachelor degrees
• Experience
• Classroom working interviews
• Compatibility with children/staff
• Recommendations from previous supervisors
• Current staff classroom observations
